I purchased 02 in nos. KVP certificates of Rs.10, 000/- (nos. 89CC438282 and 89CC438283) from RAJPUR post office PIN: 743358 (present PIN: 700149) on 01/08 regd no. 14272. MATURITY DATE: 01/11. I wanted to encash them from MARRIPALEM post office PIN: 530018. As per post office rule, I gave a letter for verification on 29/08, but even after more than 100 days no reply received from RAJPUR post office and my verification is still pending. I was refused payment of my KVP certificates though maturity date is over on 01/11. I am in need of money but they are not giving me though I have got all certificates. No body is ready to listen my problem. I met Asst. Supdt. of Posts Mr. Sastry at Visakhapatnam Head Post OFFICE at POORNA MARKET on 10/11 as per advice of MARRIPALEM post master but he refused to help me and told me to wait till verification process is over. I faxed 02 letters to P&T dept. HQ at New Delhi on 10/11 and reminder on 27/11 on fax no. 01123096107. But, there is no reply. Sir, please advice me what should I do. I want to mention here that whenever I am going to encash KVPs I am facing such problem of unusual delay in verification from RAJPUR post office.
