Post Office - Poor Service at Pradhikaran Nigdi Pune Post Office

Dear Sir,

I had submitted my MIS Pass books and Savings Bank Account Pass Books for change in address on 12.07.2008 alongwith an application and Ration Card copy as a proof of change in address.

The lady at the savings bank counter refused to sign on the Application xerox as an acknowledgement. She has given an acknowledgement on a simple paper and on asking her name she has refused in divulging the same. In turn, she has informed me to take the pass books and savings pass book on 19.07.2008 from the person who is present at the counter on that particular date. This incident has taken place at Pradhikaran, Nigdi, Pune (Maharashtra State), Pin code: 411 044 Post Office.

Today i.e. 18.07. on enquiring with the Post Master of Pradhikaran, Nigdi Post Office about the status of the passbooks, he has asked to come on 21.07.2008. Everytime when passbooks are given the same case occurs. And in turn the Post Master is complaining that I am harrassing him whereas the case is the other way round.

I request you to kindly take a note of the same and please help me out in recovering my original passbooks as large funds will get blocked in case I do not get the passbooks.

I request your immediate intervention in the same and oblige.
