I am a subscriber of airtel broadband service and have been an active user of the same for over couple of years. I have been facing some customer support problem / negligence since June'09. I have been requesting for Wi-Fi modem since June'09 and have been told time and again that wi-fi modem is out stock. I have also been assured that the modem will be changed whenever the new stock comes up. I have been calling up every 15 days to enquire and nothing is been done to address my request.
I want to bring this to your notice that in the last 4 months Airtel Broadband new connections are made in my locality with wi-fi modem. As a matter of fact Airtel acquisition team by mistake had landed up at my residence for activation of new broadband connection with wi-fi. Also I had received sales call from Airtel for new broadband connection with wi-fi modem.
Apart from that I have been calling up the customer care to change my current plan and every occassion your customer service exective failed to act due to system failure.
I am comtemplating discontinuation of my Airtel broadband connection. Thought should write to consumer forum.
Would appreciate an action.
