Airtel is not disconnecting the connection

My airtel account no. was 13773813.

I called up airtel customer care serivce and asked for the procedure for disconnecting the service.

I was told that you can subit your request on the customer care and you will get a confirmation call regarding it in few days and then your connection will be disconnected. I did as i was told by airtel customer care. I made the request for disconnecting my broadband connection somewhere around january. After that i got two confirmation calls regarding disconnecting the connection and each time i confirmed it.

I paid the last bill on 3rd March and clearedthe acccount. I am not using the airtel connection since january and i have not even connected it once since then. After then the real problem started, next month again i recieved the airtel bill and realized that they have not disconnected the connection. i made a call to airtel customer care and they said it will be resolved. Again i got a conformation call regarding disconnecting it, first of all when i have already confirmed it then why are they doing it again, i am not liable to pay now as i am not using their connection and i have already informed them. Since then i am getting airtel bill every month and there is a lady who calls up and every time i make a complaint to airtel customer care and she asks about the confirmation. I do not know how many confirmations does airtel need for disconnecting a connection. And every month they are sending the bill.

The complaint no which i have got from airtel is 19380668.

When i asked that lady from airtel does they do not maintain a database of a customer, she said she dsnt know and she dsnt have any access. I dont know whats happeining. Now its june and this month also they will send the bll and i am not using it since january. I am totally frustrated. Please Soolve my problem. I cant pay the airtel bill because as i have told them to disconnect the connection and they are not doing it.
