Hello,

I am writing this mail with respect to the discomfort I have been facing as a result of unsolicited calls I have been receiveing from Mr. Sumit (Contact Number: 09818597085) who claims to be calling on behalf of Airtel.

I had been a customer of Airtel (Mobile No:9810968779) for more than two years but had to cancel my account due to falsification of my billing amount in number of instances.

To quote specific instances:

a) I was out of India in November December and had not made any outgoing calls messages from my number during the same period however Rs.518 has been billed against my account and I had to pay this extra amount in December-08

b) I had paid Rs.2200 on Dec 15 for the outstanding amount (which included the above mentioned extra amount of Rs.518) and this has never been reflected in my bills later on. Also I would like to know the basis for charging Rs.100 as late payment fee in Dec-08 along with Rs.50 charged during the same time. I would also like to know the details of billing from Oct-08 till Dec-08.

c) My bill plan which used to be at Rs.99 month rental has been automatically changed to Rs.210 month in March-09 without any request from my side thus I have been charged this extra rental. Also my usage has been billed at Rs.2319 in March-09 which is far exceeding my historical usage which has been normally in a much lower range (Rs.700-800 per month). This is a clear case of falsification of bill.

As per my knowledge this is the due amount which I will be paying.

Nov -- 333

Dec -- 185

Total -- 518 (Have paid extra, I should be getting it back)

Jan -- 320

Feb -- 714

Mar -- 800

Total -- 1800

To be paid = 1800 - 518 = 1282 Rupees.

I would like bring to your notice the unsolicited calls from Mr. Sumit (claiming to be employee of airtel) which has been extremely annoying for me. He has also been calling my parents to their land line number. We are utterly disgusted with the lack of mannerism in the calls made by him and equally unhappy with the rudeness in the dealings of the concerned person. In the case of further disturbances created by the above named person through unsolicited calls I will not hesitate from taking the help of law.

Again I would request you to take note of my grievances and take appropriate action and send me the correct revised bills without which I would not be able to pay a single rupee.
