Sub: Reduce of Rs. 20 from my balance without my knowledge or any subscription. (My AirTel No 98679 85230)
Today i.e. on date 29-09 I was shocked to find out that 20 rupees have been deducted from my prepaid account. Immediately I dialled the airtel customer care and spoke to the customer care executive. She said that I had activated the service from my side. Tell why do we need audiomovies, when we have video movies. I told the customer care that I didnt activate. They refuse to listen and said that the money will be refunded in 24 hours. Even after 48 hours I didnt get the refund. Again on 1-10-09, I called up the customer care, they say that they will not refund the amount saying that the computer says that this audiomovie pack has been activated from my side hence no refund.
These big companies try to fill the celebrities (SHAR RUKH KHAN) pockets and sponsor big events (CLT20 2009) by collecting money illegally (forcefully activating a service) from the common man. It is the common man like me to suffer. Is there anybody who is reading, Please do me a favour, if TRAI is so serious in helping the common man then they need to put strict rules in place.
Now a days airtel has come up a noval idea of START and STOP. They automatically START the service, and you have to keep your work aside and put all your efforts in sending STOP message unsuccessfully several times. Who the hell has given AIRTEL to START a service, It is the consumer who will decide when to START and when to STOP.
This is so embarassing that untill unless i asked the customer care they dont do anything.
My 20 Rs are gone and dont know how many crores of rupeees are being siphoned off from the hapless lakhs of customers (CUST KAR KE MAR), but AIRTEL will enjoy all the benefits.
So i request you to take legal or necessory action on this regard.
