On 08-08 i have applied for a internet connection from airtel, bangalore.. the sales person to who came to me one Mr. Manjunath first asked me for 2500 for the connection with a wifi router, 500 for the installation and 1500 for the wifi router and 500 again for some paper and activation charge.. a month before one of my friend has taken the connection and he just paid 1500 in total for a connection with the wifi router. when i asked him about this he said they have changed the old wifi modem and now it is 1500 for it so i will get a better modem, and i paid 1000 as advance. when the guy came for the installation he had a normal modem and manjunath asked me to use it for 4 days. because the modem is out of stock..
i said okay. and i paid Rs.1000 again so in total 2000 i said i cant pay 500 for the papers to be made by him..he agreed with this.
now this is the 3rd month i used to call him every day after the installation..he never responded to my calls as because of this i called airtel costumer care and registered a complaint..after one hour i got a conference call from a airtel TL and Mr.manjunath in line.. he promised to give me the wifi modem with in a week.. again i waited for a week still the same, no response from him... and now when i call him he got lots of reasons like.. i lost your number, i am in my hometown. will sure come tomorrow..
is this the way how Airtel treat a costumer?
