Account closure delay and wrong billed amont

I had a connection 9000 999 631 (AP no) and after I got shifted to B'lore, put a request to closure of my connection after clearing the outstanding amount and they accpeted the form for the same and Airtel office guys told me, it will be done in 1 week of time and I will be getting a call if there is any problem with my closure process... But stragely they have deducted Rs 1230 (I had ECS from credit card) for entire month the phone was in switched off mode... When I contacted them..now they are saying that they didn't even recive the application form for the closure. How strange and rediculous this is... Not only this but I had lot of billing issues also previously... So don't go for AIRTEL... Wondering how this has got 1 million customers...
