I am an old customer of Airtel having this connection for more than 7 years.
Its a postpaid connection and I have subscribed to SMS pack-25 which gives 250 SMS (Local National) in Rs. 25 every billing cycle.
This pack is active for more than 2 years now. My aim for having this SMS pack was to have a discounted SMS mainly in festive seasons on Holi, Deewali, New Year etc. Yesterday on 15/10 I received a SMS from Airtel informing that all free/ discounted SMS will not be applicable on 16th/17th octuber. And it will be charged at normal rates.
I complaint to this because if a person is subscribed to a package, he is subscribing for a reason i.e discounted SMS. If the main objective of package is not fulfilled then whats the use of promoting these offers. It has been very cleaver motive of Airtel, who are befooling customers like me. If the pack is not used for the peak need then whats the use. Its a purely attempt to misguide the customers and a clear case of cheating and not compling by the rights of the customer. A monthly pack is applicable for the whole month and Airtel can not have it's discretion to offer it on the days they prefer. It should be brought to the court and Airtel should be sued for this. There are amny others who are having these packs. Please help. Its not a matter of money but principles.
