My Airtel Fixedline bill for the month of October-November in 2010 was of Rs 670 and the last date of payment was 7 December and i paid it on 4 December (Receipt No. 15602) at the authorised Airtel store namely Mobile World, Shop No. UGF-3, Akanksha Market, C-Block Ramaprastha, Ghaziabad U.P.11 (Phone no.0120-4560119, Mobile No.-9871988582) in Ramaprastha, Ghaziabad. But in the next bill i was charged with a late fee of Rs 75 which made it to Rs 812.When i mentioned it to the Airtel Complaint Helpline 198, they told me to make a payment of Rs 737 only and not Rs 812 as i wont have to pay the late fee charge. So i made a payment of Rs 737 on 6 January (Receipt No.17179) at the same authorised store in Ramaprastha. But to my shock they sent me the next bill of Rs 850 which again included a late fee of Rs 75 and a due payment of Rs 75 of the previous month. I tried to contact the Airtel sore many a times but to my dismay it is closed from the past 1 week. I want to request the authorities to look into the matter or else i will have to file a petition against them in Consumer Court.
