Very Very Poor Customer Care Support

This is to complain about a VERY VERY BAD experience of customer care service for AIRTEL digital TV, I am writing this mail because as a customer currently I am feeling helpless to get any kind of help either from AIRTEL customer care No. 1800 102 8080 or from mail id [email protected].

I have a AIRTEL digital TV at my home, on 2nd September at night I recharged my account with 100/- Rs. as my account balance was negative, I have 3 TOPUPs enable in my account HINDI PLUS, KIDS PLUS & CINE PLUS, after recharging the account I called up at customer care on 1800 102 8080 from my registered mobile No. 9727781969.

As far as I know in CINE PLUS TOPUP there is two options for activating the channels, either you can activate STARMOVIES, HBO, MGM & SONY PIX or you can Activate other bunch of 4 English movie channels in which STARMOVIES & HBO would stay common in both options (I know this because at the first time when I activated the TOPUP the Customer Care Executive has told me this information), so when I called up Mr. Himanshu has attended my call, I asked him to provide me information about channels available in CINE PLUS TOPUP, surprisingly he told me that he is not allowed to provide the information about the channels available in any TOPUPS, I told him many times that previously Customer Care Executive has only provided me the information of channels but he just kept on saying that he is not allowed, I asked him for any alternative and he gave answer that " CONTACT YOUR DEALER"!!! Is this true??? do I have to contact my dealer for information regarding TOPUP activation? then what's the use of toll free Customer care?

After this much useless conversation I asked him to provide me any telephone no where I can do complain about this, but again the same answer I AM NOT ALLOWED TO PROVIDE IT, Then I asked his name he told me his name as Himanshu, I asked for full name because if there would be more then 1 Himanshu then how will I decide with whom I have talked, and you might be shocked to here that he told me HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO TELL HIS FULL NAME!!! I said it's ok don't tell me your name just make me talk to your Senior and he put me on hold for a long time and some one else came on the call, he told me that he is Senior of Mr. Himanshu (Actually I know he was not Himanshu's Senior, he was just another executive sitting next to Himanshu), I simply asked him his name first but even after asking for 10 times he was not telling me his name, at last when he was not having any other option he told me his name and can you imagine what would be his name??? SURPRISINGLY his name was also Himanshu... I asked the same question to him and he provided me information about the Channels available in CINE PLUS, he told me name of 6 to 7 HINDI channels are available in CINE PLUS, I asked him 3 to 4 times, are you sure this all channels are available with CINE PLUS? he said yes Then I informed him that CINE PLUS is not a Hindi channels TOPUP, it's a ENGLISH MOVIE channels TOPUP and he was speechless, he asked me to be on hold and after a while he told me THERE IS SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM SO DUE TO THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE INFORMATION, and without informing me he handed over the call to Mr. Himanshu.

After the call handed over to Mr. Himanshu he changed his answer from I AM NOT ALLOWED TO PROVIDE to THERE IS SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND I CAN NOT SEE THAT INFORMATION ON MY SYSTEM SO NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE THE INFORMATION.

Now can you Imagine how long this talk would have went on??? it was 29 Min. long call and at the end I was helpless neither I got any information about TOPUP nor about any telephone No. for complain, after this call I again called on toll free No. and selected TECHNICAL HELP option from IVR menu by pressing 3 on my cell, that call got disconnected as soon as I reached to the executive so I again tried to call the toll free No. but it was not getting connected so I called from other Mobile No. 9913258600 available with me, This time I reached to Technical Help Executive Mr. Kiran (Again no full name because I asked him his name at the end of call and he was knowing that I am going to complain for the issue) I asked him about any telephone no. where i can do complain but he REFUSED my request and asked me what is the issue, I explained my experience and request to provide me the information about TOPUP, But as I was expecting he was not having any knowledge about the TOPUP so I haven't got any information and I cut the call.

I humbly request you to take some actions against Mr. Himanshu and his Senior Mr. Himanshu!!! I also hope that I will get some reply from your end.

THIS WAS THE MAIL I SENT ON 3RD SEPTEMBER ON [email protected] MAIL IDBUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY FOR THE SAME, CAN ANY 1 TELL ME WHERE CAN GO NOW TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS???
