This is with reference to my mobile number which was converted from prepaid to postpaid on Sept. The new simcard provided by the agents eem to be faulty. Hence could not dial/recieve any calls. Afte a month, i statred getting calls to pay monthly rentals. After explaining the same to the cust rep's about the faulty sim..they showed least interest and continued calling thrice a week for a month. I then reported this issue to the Customer care centre in Borivli (W) close to the railway station where i had to wait for 2 hours for my turn to speak to a cust rep. The cust rep (Leena) did revert back my rentals from Sept 07 to Feb 08, and suggested me to vist them again in a weeks time to collect the sim card. The worst part is i have been visiting them every week and they have just postponed it till date.
The issue is not resolved..Thanks to the attitude of customer care reps in Borivli (W) branch.
It is really very disgusting that a company like Airtel cannot hire professionals in their cust care team. If given authority i would be pleased to fire the customer care rep's in Borivli (W). One of the third class places you would never want to visit.
