My Mobile number is 9741416202 and i was in Pre-Paid Connection. I got a call from AirTel Telecaller (09972584550) and was advised me to go for Pre-Paid to Post Paid. And shifted my Scheme to Pre-Paid to Post Paid. Concerned persons have visited my residence and filled all the relevant forms and collected my documents and the money for SIM.
After a Couple of days Post Paid SIM has been activated. and Prepaid SIM has been deactivated. Verification Person has contacted and visited me and got one more form filled and given a AIRTEL Key chain as momento and after a weeks time My number went for De-Activation (Message: INACTIVE SIM).
Reason told is Verification not done. Surpirised to hear the same.
Contacted the Air Tel Office and got activated told, by tommorow one more person will come for verification.
He 09880285463, Prakash has called me. Since i was out of station i asked him to come the next day and the when the appointment has been fixed he didn't turned back. Tried to call him but his mobile keeps on ringing.
Later on Recieved my Monthly Bill and also payed my payment. Thought the things are cleared. After couple of days again the same thing De-Activation (Message: INACTIVE SIM). Went to AIRTEL head office at Bannergatta, Bangalore on Saturday 30.08.09 my token number is 381 informed that Server is down and they couldn't help me asked me to contact customer care number 9845012345 but when contacted them they told me to contact AIRTEL OFFICE.
Reason told was negative verification. Contacted the verification person, Prakash, he told me to contact his superior, 9880285146, Sanker. He told me that he will rectify the problem. But when contacted AIRTEL office they informed that my number has gone for Permanent Deactivation and no one can help in this and the same can't be restored.
Since i require the same number agian i was asked to purchase Postpaid to Prepaid SIM card, Purchased the same and till now my number is not been activated. AIRTEL office asks to contact customer care and customer care asks to contact AIRTEL office.
Since i am using this number for my Official Purpose i lost all my valuable orders because of this discrepancy.
When the Verification department couldn't able to contact me then how come the Bill has been generated and the same was cleared by me. When you can't able to handle the situations please don't ever call any customer for any kind of Conversion offers.
I never ever expected such worst service from a professional Company like AIRTEL. I am in a MNC company, I will never ever recommend any connection for my Company through AIRTEL in future.
Hope nothing improves and customer like me suffers a hell of problems.
