This is Amit Kumar and wants to log complaint against airtel prepaid service. I'm a student and had recently got a new airtel sim card (Mobile No. 9801350049) in Chennai, and had submitted all the relevant documents. Despite that my outgoing calls had been blocked. On checking with customer care, I came to know that the documents were not received. So, I re-submitted them. This happened last week.
Despite that, I never got my outgoing enabled & to add to this, I realized this week that my card has been barred and is no more functional.
I checked with customer care executive yesterday (27/08/08, around 8:00 pm), asked for assistance but, was of no use. My call was forwarded to Manager, Mr. Mangesh. I narrated the entire story. But, he refused to log the complaint & said that nothing can be done. My mobile no. details no more exist in their database.
The call transaction no. was 0827170098.
It was ridiculous experience. The problem is I never got any call/ sms from airtel beforehand saying that my card is getting barred. Also, twice I had submitted all my documents.
As it was new sim card & was not used much so I had good balance as well.
