I took landline telephone and broadband connection from Airtel in January this year. On March 6 this year my outgoing calls were barred due to non payment of dues as per the IVR messages, which should not have been the case since I had made payment before the due date. When I contacted the customer services dialing 1999 I was told that there is no outstanding against me and there is no reason why my outgoing should be barred. This problem never got resolved despite making several calls to the call center, I went out of town from 7th till 12th, I got a message from Airtel on 10th that the problem has been resolved but when I returned on 13th the problem still existed and the IVR gave the same message" out going barred due to non payment of dues ", I again contacted the call center and yet again was promised resolution within few hours this time by the floor supervisor however nothing happened I kept making calls to people in the center until finally one of the guys showed some brains and told me that the number I have been talking about is not reflecting on his screen, it is a different number which belongs to some one else, hence it was figured that there is a cross connection, he assured Engineer will visit and check, finally an engineer visited my place on 16th and he also agreed that my number is ringing elsewhere and hence the reason why I was not able to receive calls, he assured he will get it resolved. Finally Monday morning my outgoing resumed and I assumed the matter is resolved which was not the case. I was still connected to a different number (4150877) while my number is 4139764. The situation is still the same as on today. I am deeply pained and mentally tortured as the entire customer service network has failed to timely address. I am mentally harassed with your pathetic customer services and indifferent attitude towards customer problems. Your “I don't care” attitude has brought a bad name to the company. Your inaptitude for customer services has finally forcing me to approach Consumer court for relief.
I am writing to you after I have exhausted myself of calling your department for addressing my problems. I am so exhausted and drained that I cannot take this any more. Also considering the pain and bitter experience I have been through past 15 days you will be responsible for me switching over to a different service provider. Currently I have two mobile connections along with this number from Airtel.
