This issue is still in progress. I in all good failth and promises made by Mr. Manoj from Allied Packers & Logistics, Mahipalpur, Delhi gave them the contract for packing, transport, loading & unloading etc. rom Gurgain to Bangalore. I was told before that the 100% payment can be made after 100% satisfaction of receipt/checking of material after it has been unpacked/arranged at the destination.
Problems I am going through:
- Inefficient & inexperienced manpower deployed
- Substandard packing material - in fact I had to give my own corrugated boxes & wooden crate
- Had to plead with them continuously for a crate for glass center table as agreed... finaly done with very poor quality of slats and improper fitting
- While loading they demanded 80% advance payment in cash... I was forced to pay since the material was loaded and I had a filght to catch
- Finaly they agreed for the cheque and 20% balance after 7 days of receipt subject to 100% material found OK
- The insurance was charged at 3% of the material... with no details of policy ad no letter being given as to liability of damage
- 12.36% service tax with no servce tax regn no. on the bill
- No vehicle No on the LR/Bill
- No name of the Co. on the container... it was not theirs
- No office address/phone no. of their office in Bangalore - It does not exist... they have tied up with Professional Packers & Movers at Bangalore... this I found out when I asked somebody to call up at their Delhi office posing as a new customer for moving goods from B'lore to Gurgaon
- The material which was to be recd in 5 days... not yet recd
- No prior intimation of status of material
- On following up, I am told it will be recd..when no body knows... I am following up for Ins policy... an unlear image is sent which does not makes sense as all the critical details are invisible
- Finally, today after following up at 4:00 pm, I am told at 7:00 pm by tghe local packers movers that the material will be released only after 100% payment in advance for which I would need to come to their office and make the payment as they have a diiferent LR/documents than what I claim to have
Here I am - To any 100% advance of about Rs.43, 000/- with no clarity on the safety/completeness/zero damage of my goods... who will unload, unpact and arrange as promised? I might be asked to ay extra for these services once I give them the money. N0 insurance policy with me... the documents with me are invalid as claimed by the local contact.
My 2Lacs worth of material is held at mercy of somebody I dio not now or I did not deal with. He wants me to get all clarifications from Mr. Manoj who is unreachable he never answers my calls and either cancels them or switches off his phone.
I am really in trouble and would suggest that nobody delas with such people and is overtly careful and deals only after proper verifivcation of the vendor with all details and a signed contract on stamp paper/co letter head/work order.
