Amex
Misrepresentation of facts

Dear CIBIL,

We have recently applied to Axis Bank for a Home Loan.

1. I have received information from the lending bank-Axis bank regarding a certain outstanding that is being reflected in my husband Mr. Raju Sarin's name for a credit cards of AMEX.He had obtained a credit card from Amex on 25/01/1996 and due to some roudy and bad behaviour of Amex executives the card was surrendered on 17/11. The entire dues were cleared there and then.

Since we have recieved NO intimation from the American Express Bank that there is any outstanding whatsoever. However when the credit rating drill was carried out by Axis we were informed that there is an outstanding of Rs.721 which is being reflected by AMEX.

2. The Axis Bank also informs us that Mr. Raju Sarin had obtained another card,

on 13/03/07 (card issuing company not known to us) and surrendered it on

27/1/08 where an outstanding of Rs.476/- is being reflected.

If our memory serves us right, we have not got any card issued which we may have surrendered in 2008.

We will request you to get us the appropriate information on these two accounts.

You will appreciate that since neither of the amounts are big amounts and we have received no correspondence from any of the companies, there seems to be an error somewhere but because of these small amounts our home loan is stuck.

We seek justice to get his name removed from the defaulter list with an immediate effect.

Please help so that our Home loan can start.

Looking forward to a suitable and expeditious action at the earliest form your end.
