I Jason Singh, have a salary account with HDFC bank A/c - 083510505962, Branch RNA Corporate Park, Next to Collectors Office, Kalanagar, Bandra East. Mumbai. This account is active from last 10 months. My salary was credited in the account on 11th nov (Rs 29049.22), on 12th Nov HDFC has free zed my A/c where in I cannot remove any cash from my account. This was done without keeping me in the loop or given any prior notice.
When I contacted the HDFC Customer service, they informed me that They have blocked my account due to some Credit Card Pending dues of Rs 31000/-.However I informed that I had a credit card 4 years back & I have closed the Credit card; I had settled the account on March. There after till date there was letters or any communication from HDFC bank. From 13th till date I am following up with them & they are not ready to listen & have sent a letter on 14th Stating that you have to make a payment of Rs 92258.16. Surprising the customer care & I spoke to person from their Dept name Savio no 25300422; even he told that it’s Rs 31000. But the HDFC letter states 92000. How HDFC bank is cheating their customers without any reason. I have this account from last 10 months HDFC did not even deduct any amount for these months & now suddenly they Freezed my account without my permission. Moreover how my current HDFC bank saving account is linked to my 4 year old credit card. There is no written communication from my end or never ever I have signed any ECS form in my past with HDFC. This is against any norms of the RBI also, moreover they are threatening me from last 1 week to make the payments or else they take back the amount form my account. How can this be possible, I had some commitments of loans which I had to pay & moreover I have my mother who is ill & is been treated in KEM hospital. As of now i do not have any money & HDFC is not ready to release my payments.
I requesting you to please take strict action against HDFC bank & please release my amount of Rs 29049.22.
Moreover any financial institute or Bank never ever gives any customer loans it you don’t clear you’re pending loans. But HDFC gave me a car loan in Dec 06, on basis of I clearing the pending credit card dues. Also I have surrendered the car in March 08, since I couldn’t pay the EMI. HDFC bank recovery agents are just calling & speaking rudely to pay the 92000 pending due or else they will not release my Salary of Rs 29049.22. Also they have told me that any further salary which will be credited in my account they will hold it back at their end. This is totally threatening customer’s unnecessary & just putting more demanding for more money from consumers. My mother is a sick patient & I have no money to take care of her medication. I would want RBI & Consumer court to take strict action against HDFC bank. Waiting for your kind and Positive response
