Apple iPod Nano 8Gb 4th Generation
Not ready to repalce the faulty product even though it was purchased 2 days back

I purchased a Apple iPod Nano 8Gb 4th Genaration Mp3 player form the above mentioned store on 12/03 at around 8:30pm. From that day it was working fine till 14th morning. After listening to songs on 13th night, I switched it off and on 14th, when I was at office, I connected that to my Laptop, so that I can upload some songs to it. after couple of hours I disconnect it by ejecting the device using iTunes. Then when I tried to listen longs, I found that it was not dispalying anything, I tried pressing the Play button multiple times. Still it was not showing anything. I tried reconnecting it to laptop again. Still iTunes was unabel to detect it. As it was a new and within waranty, so I thought od not trying anythign silly so that my warranty get void. In the evening on the same day I took that device to the same store from where I purchased it. One representatve took that device in his hand and with out checking, he told me it could be due to battery dry up. He then conenct that device to soem power shource and pressed some buttons. To my surprise that powerd up the device but with 3/4th of battery life. Seeing that I asked him, why it was dead when there was power. He then took me to a Technical engineer and after cheking, he told me its a basic problem and a simple reset will do. I asked him what is the problem and why he is willing to reset it. He was not able to give me any explanation and he went inside to get another senior technical support engineer. He too was unable to provide me any explanation. In between there supervisor jumped into our conversation and started telling me things which even he was not sure of.

I requested them clearly that as I pruchased it 2 days ago, so why they would not repalce it instead of resetting. The device need resettign, that proved there are some problem it it.

They denied that request and took my device.
