Domestic Supply Charged as Commercial

Dear Sir,

While constructing my house at Upperpally, Rajendranagar, Rangareddy District, I have applied for a domestic connection from APTRANCO and got connected a domestic connection with S.No. 3208 05537 32008. Subsequently on completion of my house I have applied for a 3 phase connection for the same building, bearing House No. 2-6-5/II/54, at Happy Homes Township Phase 2. The connection was given within one week with S. No. 09897, but it came to my notice only after receiving my first electricity bill that it was categorized as Commercial and charged me more than Rs.10, 000. Since it was a discrepancy, I did not pay the amount. Consequently the power is disconnected and I was forced to pay the amount for re-connection with a written request to convert it into domestic category.

But after the lapse of one month, I have received another bill with the same commercial category and the application returned back to me by the line man, to re-submit the same to AE of that area for necessary action.

I did not understand how the domestic category was allocated as Commercial and why suitable action was not taken after giving the application.

This is a common practice of the Electricity department in our area to get bribe, otherwise the requested work will not be undertaken with lame excuses. I have a video evidence of paying Rs.10, 000 to the line man and the area supervisor for 3 phase connection, which will produced on request.

Now, I want to know the reasons for this wrong connection and the breakdown for the amount charged to me which is more than Rs. 10, 000. ASAP, otherwise the issue will be referred to the higher authority for suitable action.
