Subject – Illegal drilling of hole in the beam by the Secretary
Sir,
I Anant B Joshi, residing at 603, Shivam Towers Cooperative Housing Society, DD Marg, Vishnunagar, Dombivli (W) – 421202, wish to bring to your notice that the Secretary of our Building Mr. Gopal Krishna Gacchi, residing at Flat No. 201 in the same building has Illegally drilled hole in the beam of his residence (in bedroom) during fitting of the Air Conditioner. When asked about it – he just does not answer or puts the blame on the A/c mechanic who fitted the AC unit.
This action from a responsible position of Secretary of the building not only hampers the safety of the tenements residing in the building but further may detoriate the condition of the building making it unsafe to stay. Since the Secretary does not answer when asked about it or puts the blame on AC mechanic – he may continue doing so in future (drilling more holes in the beam / pillar) making the building more unsafe and may cause fatal accidents.
Also it is illegal to tamper with any type of Beam / Pillar of the building – and calls for legal action against the Secretary.
Similarly, the safety door that he has made at the entrance of his flat is way outside in the common passage and our society had passed a resolution during our November meeting, that it should be withdrawn (the minutes of this meeting when the resolution was passed is attached herewith for your reference). Till date, the Secretary has not taken any action on it and has a very rude behavior when questioned.
I request you to please intervene and enquire in the above matter on urgent basis – since the continued rude behavior and actions by the Secretary may lead to more drilling of holes in the
beam / pillar which can turn fatal in near future.
