Cutting of Trees in NHPC

Dear Sir

I'm an resident of Banbassa, Disst. Champawat in Uttarakhand. 2 km away from Banbassa there is a Hydro Power Station of N.H.P.C.(National Hydro Power Corporation) known as Tanakpur Power Station.

Since last 02 months it has been noticed that around 20-30 trees has been cut down in the NHPC resendential colony without the permission of concerned Government Officials. Recently 5 more trees has been cut down on 17/11.

The Head of the Project is not taking down the seriousness towards environmental balance. As NHPC is a company indulge in energy conservation therefore the Head of the Project should not take such decisions to cut down a no. of trees.

My humble request to you is to support the environment by doing the need full.
