I was standing at the ITO traffic light and i saw on the other side of the road, couple of police men, one wearing blue and white uniform and one the normal beige- yank a auto guy out of his auto and take behind their police van.
i could see the auto guy bent downwards and i could hear the blue white uniform man slap him- hit him. It was so loud that i could hear it from the other side of the road! It was precisely 6-15 pm, police vehicle number0 DL 1CM 0305.
Now is this allowed? It is possible that the auto guy had done something wrong. But to take him behind a police car and hit him??? Is it human? Is this allowed or written in our law?
I have taken a couple of pictures of the van also.
I would like to get some suggestions on what to do about this.
Secondly, while applying for my new passport, i had to undergo a Police investigation as my passport was 'damaged'. The police who was looking into my case asked me for 'money'- not so directly but yes it so very apparent that i was certainly amazed and this happened at the time when whole of India was going crazy with 'Anna story'. Now should i name him so that he can get scrutinised?
Can there ever be some action taken against the Delhi Police for their behaviour. They are the ones to be telling people to behave, drive well! But don't we see them jumping Traffic lights? Now is this also 'law' that police can jump traffic lights?
