There is a big problem of street dogs in our area... sector-21 nerul east navi-mumbai is a residential area with lots of school children and kids ..of late the street dog problem has been only increasing in the locality..it is getting very unsafe to tavel in the night as the dogs bark and threaten to bite while even walking on the road..the constanly bark through out the night creating a nuisance for people who sleep only to go to work early morning..the street dogs chase bikes and bark at the sight of any friends or guests who come to visit... recently there was an incident in which a shop keeper was bitten by the street dogs... it is scary to even think of if the same situation were to occur with any innocent children or kids in the area... the street dog population is also constantly rising as they keep on mating regularily...
it is a matter of great health concern for all the residents and the citizens as these street dogs are the carriers of various dangerous and potentially fatal diseases like rabies... i urge the navi-mumbai municipal corporation to take this matter seriously and catch these street stray dogs and make our lives safe, healthy and better... i hope this complaint is taken seriously and action is taken immediately...
