Delay in Passport Despatch

I am awaiting for my son's Passport which was submitted on 23-9.It's an infant Passport. File. No.z351655.The Passport enquirey was done the very next day. I started checking the Passport STATUS after a month, since then its showing the same status " It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". And the site says it was last updadted on 7-3.I therefore request for not delaying the process futher.
