DELAY AND DAMAGE IN COURIER

Dear Sir,

I had purchased 2 air conditioner of Hitachi Compnay. For despatch of these air conditioners compnay had booked 6 packages from Indore to Betul vide Gati docket no.326200344 on 26.03.2010.

Betul is around 400 km from Indore. To travel this distance and for delivery of these packages it took 3 days to the Gati and delivered the same to me on 29.03.2010 at 6.30 pm. As per the Gati site assured delivery date of this docket was 27.03.2010 and also the helpline was confirming this to me over the telephone.

But when the docket was not delivered on 27.03. I had approched the Gati again and than I got reassurance that the same will be deliver to you without fail on 28.03.2010. I was keep on wating for the delivery iof the docket. On 29.03.2010 when it was not deliver to us I had again contacted the Gati over the other mobile no. gievn by the helpline, than I was told that the normal deliver time for Betul is 3 dyas whereas the site and helpline was confriming 1 day.

On 29.03. from morning to evening I was keep on calling to track my docket on the various mobile no given by the gati persons, but nobody was in a position to give me satisfactory ereply when the docket will be delivered. Since morning to evening every time Gati persons were telling that it will be delivered after 2 hours.

The whole day was full of tension for me as what will happen to this docket as I had already made the payment to the dealer.

Kindly look into the serious ness of the matter and take up with the concern Gati Company.
