I'm a resident of sec 7 ext Gurgaon. Household electrical supply is a menance here. Problem is that we had never seen 220V supply in last few months. This case is evident every summer season from April to september. Getting even 180V supply is even tough here. Situation is so worse that sometimes voltage drops to 110-120V.Residents tried to speak to S.D.O and other concerned person from the deptt but all in vain. At such voltages its almost impossible to switch on your tubelights, run a fan, cooler etc..Moreover if we use some science at such low voltage appliances draw high current which out of their safe permeable limits causing heavy wear tear or premature failures. And this has happened with lot of us, with me too.
