PNG not connected bad service

RE: Gas connection not installed and pathectic service from IGL personnel.

Through Mass Management services Pvt LTd - Direct marketing agent of IGL

320, 3rd floor, Ansal Chambers-II, Bikaji Cama Place, New Delhi 110066.

I booked a PNG gas connection for my residence at 6154/7, D-6 Vasant Kunj.

Registration no ; 608009

Date - 10 feb

cheque no : 506236 / SBI / rs 6000/-

I chased the installation of this connection for the next 3 months but to no avail.

No one helped me nor gave me a date for the connection to be installed.

On the 08 may i spoke to a person at 9958033995 for this and he said they will send the person to fix the connection

on Sunday, the 9th May.

What happened on the 9th May

1. 2 personnel of Khurana Engineering came to install the pipe line

2. after wondering how and where to start they finally manged to start an hour later

3. Without checking where to drill etc they made a hole in the wall.

4. In this process they

A- broke our Glasses and plates as they did not wait for us to remove them even though the ladies in the home

were clearing the area for them to work

B- Cut through the electricity main wires to the home and for this we needed to get an electrician on a SUNDAY

and had to pay him for the Negligence of the IGL workers.

C- the personnel kept arguing with us and were rude and discourteous.

They finally left without installing anything and left us in stress and hurrying to get the electricians to restore power supply.

Yesterday, on the 11th May i called 9958033995 and i spoke to an executive -

1. spoke rudely

2. said these things take time and " itni jaldi hota nahin kuch bhi"

3. I told him i would escalate the matter but no improvement in the service.

While logging this complaint about the damages caused and the connection -

I have spoken to 4607 4607 - Miss joshi

who put me onto 4607 4811 - Mr Bhattacharya

who sent me to the next person - Mr. Nitin who assured me things would be fixed. But nothing has been done so far.

In vasant kunj the pipes line are already laid and there is no excuse for having such delays in installation.

The service provided by IGL needs to be improved and such behavior should not be repeated.

The customer service personnel too need to be polite and courteous, if they feel they are overworked these issues msust be addressed by IGL

instead of them venting their frustration on the customers.

Please will you look into this matter and solve the problem asap.
