Why is ADHAAR card not accepted as Proof of IDENTITY by INCOME TAX DEPT for issue of PAN CARD?
Passport Office accepts ADHAAR card as proof of Identity for issue of Passport.
Passport is accepted as Proof of identity by IT depatrment for issue of PAN card, but ADHAAR card is not accepted!!!
Adhaar card issued by Central Govt and IT department don't accept, card issued by central government.
Why dont income tax department review the proof of identity document requirement, after Adhaar card scheme is in place.
IT department, Pls update the requirements!!!
