Indian Passport
Delay in Issue

My parents have applied for a new passport (App. No. A008595 & A008594) on the 23rd. of February in Patna. A police officer visited the house in Gaya on the 26th.of March and the verification was done. The passports are still awaited. Status on the website indicates "Police Report has not been received" even today, on the 18th. of May.

Will be grateful if the matter is taken up with the concerned authorities.
