Hi Team,

I would like to bring to your notice. For my passport renewal I applied the application (File No: C015557) on April end 2010. As per my understanding our branch complete the renewal process within 30 days but, it almost 40 days over. I have to fly for abroad training in another few weeks.

Meantime I would like to know why the Chennai Passport status database is not updated after June 3rd 2010 for nearly 40 days. Due to this status of the application is same for last 45 days.

Please do the needful ASAP.
