ISLAD FACTORY FOR ENGG. INDUSTRIES, JUBAIL, KSA
Non receipt of Passport

Sir,

I Premjith Krishnan Bhargavan, holder of Passport No. E0290825 working with a private firm as Engineering Manager in Jubail, K.S.A. since 2 years. Expiry date of my passport was 11.11.2011 and I have submitted application for new passport at Dammam Indian Embassy extension branch on 27.10.2001.

Against this application I have received letter No. SAUA33383511 (P-412/11) dtd. 01.11.2011 issued by Embassy of India, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

saying that in my passport record file (File No. COCC 02327301) the Police Report indicated as adverse and the passport service shall be rendered after the clearance of the passport issuing authority in India and till then the passport shall remain under the custody of the Embassy. Also they have adviced to submit written explanation for adverse police report with Personal Particular Performa, copies of Ration card & School certificate.

I have submitted the said documents to the Consular officer, at Dammam extension office on 24.11.2011. They told me that, they will forward it to RPO Cochin. I had contacted Riyadh Embassy and got the confirmation that the documents has been sent to RPO Cochin via New Delhi on 29.11.2011. But according to RPO Cochin information dept. it has not been reached there till 31.01.2012. Now more than 3 months over and I didn't get my new passport yet. As my passport has expired on 11.11. my stay in Saudi Arabia is without a valid passport. Also I will not be able to move out of this country in case of emergency. Hence I request you to look into this case and do the needful to get my new passport at the earliest.

Await your immediate response.

Yours faithfully,

Premjith Krishnan Bhargavan.
