Non- reciept of passport

Sir,

I applied for the passport on 28-5. my file no.is W 541793. and my d.O.B is 11-01-1967.

Police verification by the local police station was over on 10-9 but still i have not received my passport . online enquiry is stating the status as the file is under police enquiry . i can not understand when the enquiry was over on sept so why i have not received my passport at.
