KERALA STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD
Unauthorised usage of private compound

From the main concrete electric post on the north side of K R John Road, Moolamkuzhy, Kochi (Thoppumpady Division of Kerala State Electricity Board), wires for distribution of electricty crosses unauthorisedly through two private compounds including mine for supply of electricity to a few consumers on the south side of the road when supply can be done from a post on the south side. Two wooden posts are placed in my compound for facilitating this supply with risk of life as the wires kisses the sunshade of my house and there could be accidental contact during cleaning of the house. This arrangement was done years back when there was no post on the south side to facilitate supply to those customers. Now that a convenient post is there on the south side, supply should be effected from that side and the line now coming from the north side should be dismantled and the wooden posts from my compound be removed by KSEB at their cost or at the cost of the said consumers on the south side.

Christopher Antony
