File No: BOM- L008771- 10 Hello, I have applied for re-isse of passport on 05- April and today is 19th April but till date Ihave received a call for Police verification. The status on tele-enquiry and the website mentions that Police verification is not yet received. How can it be? When I haven't received any call for it. I did check with the closest Police station they mentioned that for re-issue verification report of police is not required than why is the status on tele-enquiry and website mentions it.
Please give me proper information on my file status, as to when will I receive my new passport and also is there any Police verification required. If Police verification is not required the status on the website should be changed.
