Sewage water running in the street

Sir,

I am a resident of kandaswamy nagar, 7th cross street, palavakkam, chennai. During the past month's heavy showers our street is overflowing with sewage water due to blockage/ water logging due to garbage in the canals provided for the sewage water to move. It is stinking horribly outside our houses and all the school children, office goers and even house wives face a great trouble to even walk in the street as sometime we even see stools floating in this sewage water.

During summer we have frequent power cut and lack of water facility problems, during rainy season now we are facing this sewage water overflowing the whole street problem. I just don't understand what the higher officials are doing inspite of so many complaints. The whole street itself has changed into intense black colour due to this sewage water running across the street.

Also no proper road facility and the garbage is not cleared properly. I think this is the most neglected street in the entire palavakam.

I request the officials to seriously look into this matter and do the needful at the earliest
