RENEWAL OF PASSPORT REF: HYD - W350026
I would like to draw your attention on the over-delayed passport renewal that has happened. Passport of my wife was submitted on 2nd January; which has not been delivered yet. Satus on web remains same for that past two months. The status message on the web site says " “It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week’s time". Travel of my wife to KSA is must to keep up the residence permit and residence visa live. Failure to travel before 20th of April will lead to an expiration of my wife's, my daughter's and my son's visa. Furthermore, renewal of my residence permit too will also be effected. Not only this; with the summer season ahead ; the travel arrangments that have been confirmed will be hampered and might not get any confirm booking due to summer rush in case of delay. Thus, I escalate this to the higher authorities to look into the matter very urgently and instruct concern authorities at Passport Office at Hyderabad to despatc passport of my wife immediately.
