Non Delivery of goods

Hi,

I booked some household items with Anil Agarwal (Agrasen Packers and Mover) who contacted me since my no. was sent to him from Justdial.com. The booking was made on 1st Feb '11 and the bill was for Rs. 6700/-. I paid advance of Rs. 5000/- and the agreement was to pay the balance on delivery. Since then I have made several calls and have also registered a Police Complaint with Delhi Police but he hasn't sent me those items lying every time I call him making one excuse or the other.

I am now thinking of filing a court case against the firm and also in Consumer court. Kindly advise any other remedy.
