Police enquiry

Dear sir/Madam

i am working with PSU (Govt. of india under taking).as per govt norms before job conformation my organisation did police enquiry.right now i am going to be apply passport, isit again required police enquiry for getting passport.otherwise is they consider no obsection certificate from my organisation

please give suggetions
