I came from UK in 2009 after study and got my passport lost in amritsar.i have applied my passport in january I was in need of my passport in certain circumstances..my wife is a britisher and is pregnant and presently in UK living alone.she waited for my passport for 5 months.unfortunately, she has to leave for UK because she was pregnant. I met passport officer and told him my situation but all in vain. All the verifications and police report has been sent 2 months ago..I call passport office everyday. But couldnt get any appropiate reply.i am still waiting for my passport so that i can go to UK nd help my 8 months pregnant wife...
