Sir,
I had applied for new passport for myself and my wife and I have received recently both of these passports as per following details:
Passport No. H 9129694 - Umesh Bahadur Khare (self)- date of birth 01.08.1946
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
The above passport has been issued after cancelling of my earlier expired passport No...
where the stamp of ECR was cut and ECNR was stamped.
In the new passport there is a small spelling mistake in my address, as under:
Correct Address is
J 1/28-B, FIRST FLOOR, KHIRKI EXTENSION, MALVIYANAGAR, NEW DELHI - 110017
In the passport the spelling if "KHIRKI" has been mentioned as 'KHIEKI" (instead of letter 'R' letter 'E' has been printed).
Passport No. H 9131124 - Sushma Khare (wife) - date of birth 30.11.1958
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
In this passport, which is for my wife (who is not a senior citizen) the stamp of "ECR' has been put. I understand as per rule if husband's passport carries the stamp of ECNR, wife's passport should also carry the same.-
I request you to kindly instruct the concerned department to advise me how to get the above anomalies rectified in both the passports.
UB Khare
