Dear Sirs, I had applied for renewal of my passport alongwith the passports of my wife and two kids. The details is as under:

While the police enquiry was completed in the month of March itself, the online status of the above file nos. showed UPTO 14.06.11 AS " POLICE ENQUIRY COMPLETED, PASS PORT WILL BE DESPATCHED BY 15-06"

Now for the last eight weeks, it says "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time"
