DELAY IN ISSUING MY PASSPORT

SUBJECT: PASSPORT NOT BEING ISSUED - File Reference No: CAL-A065596-11 of RATNA BANERJEE Date of Application:07-07

I have applied for my own passport in Kolkata circle on 07.07.2011. On 10th August'11, verification by local police station Serampore was completed and then also completed by Chinsurah District HQ.

Please help me to understand the status of my passport application as given "Personal Particulars Form referred for reverification regarding your last one year stay to the concerned authority. "Do i need to do anything else for this now? please guide., .

I personally have visited both the DIB offices and it was confirmed by both the offices that after verification of my whereabouts the report has been sent to Kolkata Regional Passport Office in my favour. No discrepancy was there in my report. Subsequently, I have also visited RPO, Kolkata and did not get proper reply.

My son stays in US and needs my presence there urgently. I am a housewife and cannot run after door to door for my passport.

Once again request to please arrange to issue my passport without any further delay.
