Dear Sir/Madam,

Chowdhury Projects Pvt. Limited owned by Soumitra (Jhantu) Chowdhury is one of the big cheater in Kolkata amongst all the Developers. There are several court cases in Baratsat District Consumer Court against his name which are in EXECUTION phase now. He was declared as ex-party in all these court cases as he never appear to court to oppose the blames raised against him. Please gather more information on these court cases before purchase any flat from him (my suggesstion is even don't think to book a flat from him). Presently his four to five different projects are running and he took 90% of the total flat amount from all of the purchaser of these flats 3 years back. All of these flats are almost 95% ready.

His good qualifications are -

1. He will show you these flats and tell you that all of these flats are ready. Flat owner are residing outside India now. Once they will come they will stay here.

2. Then he will take 90% of the total flat value from you in 2-3 phase. His paper works are good enough to get a loan from bank.

3. Then he will start hide and seek play with you. Give you a date to meet either on site or in his office. Believe me you will wait for him long time but he will not come. Even you can see that his office is closed on that day.

4. Never pick any phone call fro your known number. If you call him from different number then unfortunately he will pick the call and as soon as he will recognize you he will tell you that "I will call you after five minutes". Bad luck.. these five minuted will never come.. If you call him after 5 min you will be told "The mobile number you have dialled is switched off".

5. He will give you several dates to deliver the flat (like Poila Boisakh, Mahalaya) but jokes apart he will never mention the year. So you may have to wait till your death.

6. If you are lucky enough then after 3-4 years you will get the flat but never expects Possesion Letter, Deed of Conveyence or Completion certificate of the flat. You will not get these stuff till your death.

7. If you are unlucky enough then you may seen that huge deviation of the construction from the sanctioned plan and you may get the drive way with width just 2/3 of your car's width.
