Apartment owners who purchased apartments in the prestigious Group housing complex of L&T ECC were cheated by L&T corporate. After promising a gated community of 34 acres, including 12 acres of park and children's play area, etc. the corporate giant L&T and its Land owner Dinesh Ranka went to the extent of literally cheating and encroaching into the apartment owner's private property by means of unlawful force, demolishing the boundary walls of the complex, opening up the park and the main road of the complex to the public. They have done this in such a barbaric manner unsuitable for a professional corporate giant. It is been said that this has been done to help the land owner fullfil his personal motives and thereby for L&T to acquire monetary benefits. They have done such attrocities to disrupt the peaceful lives of the residents who purchased this property for such a premium price expecting the best of their services.
