I am a resident of L&T South City on Bannerghatta Road. L&T South city maintains our apartment complex.
1) About 2 months back L&T created two deep huge pits by digging up lawns near the B6-B5 blocks and B2 block of our apartment complex. The dirty mud from these pits have been just left around it creating huge dirty mud mounds and also rain water has collected in the pit from the rain over the past couple of months. The collected water has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes now plus it is so deep that there is risk of small children falling and drowning in that pit. Please note that no work has been done on these pits ever since it has been dug up. Very occasionally one worker is seen doing something around it. This work needs to be expedited and the pit closed otherwise malaria will soon start spreading and this is just a drowning accident waiting to happen.
2) While it appears that L&T does not appear to have any interest in the completing the pit work L&T construction is at full speed. Please note that the dust from the construction is causing severe allergies and asthma. Also the construction noise is very disturbing. Please note that the construction goes well beyond 8 pm and also starts much before 8 am.
