Refund of Booking amount due to cancellation of booking

Hi,

We booked a flat with ABC Pvt Ltd, but due to issues with builder not delivering on the verbal promises which he made at the time of booking, we had to cancel the booking.

We are carrying the original receipts of the amount paid to the builder. Builder is now delaying the refund of booking amount even after 2 months of cancellation of booking.

What is it that we can do to expedite the process of refund. Please provide help/pointers.
