Here is the current picture as of March for those who have already purchased a site or intend to do so at 'Net City' at Arunachalcam properties on the Sarjapur Attibele road.
I purchased a site on June from 'Net City' a project of 'Green Homes Farms and Resorts' a Hyderabad based company. I have completed my home and moved in four months ago. Here are the key issues with the layout.
Though a BMRDA approved layout, only 60% of the sites have approval. The developer allegedly illegally sells unapproved sites. This will eventually absolve the developer from completing all infrastructure as required of them.
As far as infrastructure is concerned, the roads are in pathetic shape, wild bushes abound, no avenue trees are planted, the drainage is as good as non existent, no move on the part of the developer to start on the parks or the other amenities.
BESCOM provides only temporary power since the developer has allegedly not paid the fees required to get a feeder line. Thus one has to take ones own meter reading every 28 days to BESCOM to pay the bill (which is anyway quite high for temporary connection) and be threatened of disconnection. The AE at BESCOM wants me to get the developer to get it sorted out but where are they?
Which brings me to the point that Green Homes have all but vanished from Bangalore and calls go unanswered as much as emails. I last heard they were trying to develop a property in Chennai. Beware Chennaiaites...
Latest issue is that the main 60ft road has been fenced by the adjacent farmer who claims it is his land. So no access from this point on to a major part of the layout and Spring Valley beyond.
I have started work on legal action and urge people who are part of this layout to join hands and for those looking to buy, pass this by for you own safety.
