I paid the society transfer amount to the real estate agent. He said that he would pay this amount to the builder as a society is not formed yet. We never met the builder and the agent got his NOC. Now the bank says that they are not able to get in touch with the builder as his office is always close and he doesn't picks up the phone. Bank is not disbursing the cheque. The real estate agent is threatening to cancel the deal. The stamp duty and registration has already been done and my loan is sanctioned. But only the loan cheque is taking time. How can the bank verify that the builder has actually given the NOC. And is the NOC important for a loan disbursement
