My Club Mahindra membership no. is 1648171. I had taken membership of Club Mahindra (CM) by paying 10% downpayment of Rs. 25000 and rest of the amount was agreed to be paid 60 EMI to be debited to my card on the 7th of every month. However, the 1st and 2nd installment were debited to my card on the 8th of Feb and 8th of March respectively. The 3rd instalment was debited to my card on 7th of April. Thus, in the month of April, due to the irregular debits made by CM, the amount was debited twice to my card account in the same month and hence I had to pay it twice. To avoid this, I had requested CM to temporarily credit the amount for April and debit it immediately again so that I need not pay the same twice in this month. However, they disagreed stating that their procedures dont allow such things. The CM people told me that whenever there are any Sundays or holidays, such kind of irregularities in debit will occur and they cant help it. I therefore opted for cancellation of my membership, and refund of amounts paid till date. However, I got a mail stating that they cannot repay the amounts paid till now because, as per their rules and regulations (which were not shared with me before applying for membership), the amounts paid till date have been fully apportioned to administrative fee of membership cost of 25 years and entitlement fee for 1 year. I have not yet completed 4 months in membership and I wont be able to enjoy the holidays till 18 EMIs are paid. Therefore, the refusal of CM to repay my membership fee due to some stupid regulations seem unjust and unfair especially when they are not informed earlier.

Further, as per the offer at the time of joining membership, on payment of 2 EMI I was entitled to an LCD TV withinb 45 days of realisation of 2nd instalment. I had told them about cancellation about 40 days (14 April) after realisation of the 2nd installment, and now they are telling me that since the system is showing cancellation request, they cannot dispatch the TV as promised.

CM is holding me to ransom, on one hand by refusing the refund of membership fees already paid by apportionment to administrative fees of 25 years, for which I have not enjoyed any holidays, and on the second hand, by refusing the dispath the TV as promised, even after paying 3 installments.

Kindly look into the matter and help me get a refund of membership fees.
